We are out of the norm. in so many ways here! lol I will just go into Christmas in this post. We may not wait until Christmas to give another a present. Only thing set in stone on Christmas is orange rolls & coffee every Christmas morning together. As the day gets closer we have our goodies that get brought or we make and share with others, adopted family, friends, family, & we always have a pot of coffee and or tea ready! Christmas to us here at my house is about love and being together. It took us yrs to get to this point. We have almost always been poor, so we had to adapt and change what it meant to us, and gifts and societies ideas got all but totally erased from our Christmas. It is alot less stress on not just me being sick, but to my kids who now love the way it is, even my youngest! My kids get one or a few presents at my house, but that is all. Once they adapted we all love it. We no longer care what others think. Hell I don’t think we even talk about it with others anymore. I let a church provide Christmas one yr. and they way over did on it and I felt sick about it, swore I would never let anyone do that again. I know they meant well, but that is not the Christmas I want for myself or my kids. You can agree or disagree…………………….I don’t really care. It works for us and we are happy!
