Do you crave carbs and sugars? Do you have a white coating on your tongue? Do you love french toast? If you said yes to any of the following below then you probably have Candida. Candida is a fungus, which is a form of yeast, and a very small amount of it lives in your mouth and intestines. Its job is to aid with digestion and nutrient absorption but, when overproduced, candida breaks down the wall of the intestine and penetrates the bloodstream, releasing toxic byproducts into your body and causing leaky gut. This can lead to many different health problems, ranging from digestive issues to depression ((mindbodygreen para 1).
How Can I Get Rid Of Candida?
Oregano Oil- The phenols in oregano oil are highly concentrated and extremely effective in fighting bacterial infections, fungal infections and candida overgrowth. Wild organic oregano oil is known to be especially effective in fighting conditions like candida. This has helped me a lot!
Olive Leaf Extract- he oleuropein in olive leaf extract is used by the body to fight fungal infections caused by candida overgrowth. A high-potency standardized olive leaf extract can obliterate candida quite effectively.
Pau D`Arco- s often brewed into a tea. Drinking one cup per day is an easy way to harness its antifungal properties. I can’t believe it…I see this all the time at my local health food store and I never picked it up.Eating
Garlic- it’s that simple. is a powerful antibacterial and antifungal agent. Candida cannot survive when garlic is present, so consistency is the key.
Neem Oil- is known for stimulating the immune system and fighting infections and fungal overgrowth. It is also a potent detoxifier. Neem oil can also be applied topically as needed….it’s smells so bad applied topically!
Apple Cider Vinegar- apple cider vinegar balances the pH level of your body and can prevent harmful pathogens like candida from growing out of control. A teaspoon to a tablespoon taken before each meal can aid digestion and prevent undigested food particles from feeding candida in the gut.
Echinacea: It supports your immune system in the fight against candida as well as other infections.
Black Wallnut- is a natural herb which contains tannins that not only kill fungal overgrowth like candida, but also kill parasites.
Stay groovy!

OK….I’ll give the coconut oil a try. Thnks for the info.
There’s no evidence that echinacea is effective against anything. I’ve seen stuff on just about everything else tho.
At around 30 yrs old, for the first time I became allergic to virtually everything associated with common allergies; pollens, molds, pet dander (I had 2 dogs and 2 cats!) etc. I was prescribed Allegra for a few years, then one day heard an infomercial while driving – was in the mountains of Colorado and only could get 1 AM station – lucky me. It was the author of The Cure Is In the Cupboard. The show primarily focused on Oil of Oregano (OO), not to be confused with regular store bought oregano oil (big diff).
I ordered a 6oz bottle of OO off the internet, as the only place (supposedly) to get the pure form is from Italy. This was the late 90′s. Now, when I’d take Allegra it’d finally kick in after about a half hour, and I had to take a pill every 12 hours or my allergies would return in a major way. The Allegra never helped my eye irritation, so I took over-the-counter Opcon-A eye drops, which are now available in the aisle.
The very first time I took OO, and I swear to this, it halted every symptom in it’s tracks within MINUTES! Even my eye irritation, which was always an issue having to put drops in every hour or so. I couldn’t believe it, and was in no way a placebo effect.
That was the day I started believing in alternative meds.
OO is known as a potent cure, or helpful to treat many various symptoms, so please do a search but beware of the sites promo-ing their product as a cure-all. Since I started taking OO over 15 years ago, I’m rarely sick and haven’t missed a work day due to illness in over a decade. I’m 46 now.
One quick note. OO is very potent and can burn when in contact with skin — strong enough to kill raw sewage so that’ll give you an idea. So, you want to “cut” it with an oil, I use vegetable though there are other ways. Just one drop per teaspoon under the tongue for most applications, though it can be used as a topical, too (still cut with oil). I put 1 drop in a 2-ounce nose-mister with distilled water, and just a squirt in each nostril and I’m good for 24 hours (lol that sounds funny I know!) This stuff has saved my a bundle in expensive eye drops alone, not to mention Allegra which was still $60/mo out of pocket even with my insurance back then. 1 4-ounce bottle lasts over a year, so I’ve saved $1000′s and no more doc trips !
Just my personal experience. I swear by this stuff! Oh, you can get a 4-6oz bottle for between $40-$60 — just surf for deals but the more purer the OO the better! Lots of options nowadays and I’ve used different brands, ALL have worked.
Good Luck allergy sufferers…give it a shot you’ll be glad you did!

Inflammation causes Leaky Gut AND Candida.
Immune system issues (from the lack of glutathione – made from Cysteine, Glycine, & Glutamate) cause inflammation and cannot clean up the Candida problem.
Typically Cysteine is missing from our diets. Hospitals use N-Actyl-Cysteine (the same thing) to treat leaky gut. Cranberries have it in them. Eat a handful before meals and there will be no leaky gut, and Candida will dissapear.
Excellent story, thanks! Just about all Americans could probably benefit from this article.
