With the fear of Ebola growing in America, biopharmaceutical companies are all racing to put out the first FDA-approved Ebola vaccine. Several companies have already seen their stock values soar on the market, just on the chance that the bet might pay off. Vaccines already pose enough risks as it is. This year, more than 50 percent of parents expressed a great deal of concern to their family pediatrician before allowing them to inject their children.
With all the profit on the line, many companies are pumping millions of dollars into what they call “educational campaigns.” Just last month, PBS aired a documentary funded by the Koch Brothers. From beginning to end, the production pushed the pro-vaccine agenda as hard as it possibly could.
