Apple is one of my favorite go to ingredients to help any cleaning recipe taste great. The sweetness helps to mask most off notes in bitter ingredients such as leafy greens and celery, while the delicious taste helps to fend of cravings if you are trying to limit calories on a juice cleanse or if you are juicing for weight loss. I like to use various types of apples in the same recipe such as more tart green apple along with a red more sweet apple for added dimension.
For the more cleansing components to this recipe include cucumber, celery, spinach and lemon. The cucumber helps to mellow out the sweetness of the apple while the celery, spinach and lemon are go to ingredients for most cleansing recipes.

Wash and process the ingredients as you typically would and for what works best in your particular juicer. Add the spinach first, following by the cucumber and apples to help push through the spinach juice. Peel and add a few slices of the lemon and following with celery. I add the celery last as it sometimes can clog up the juicer a bit.
