http://zero-carb.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss I ate too much today. Is that a bad thing? I feel a little stuffed or should I say a little too full. I don't feel bloated at all. I feel like when you drink too much water and can't drink another drop. This happened during my second meal. I will get to that in moment. First I want to talk about the beef cheek I cooked. It came out wonderful. I just seasoned it and wrapped in in foil and slow cooked it in the oven at 250 degrees over night. I guess it cooked for about 9 hours. I am sure it did not need that much cooking. I slept in this morning and got up around 9 o'clock. The meat was so tender it was unbelievable. I started to eat only 3 eggs with it then for reasons unknown to me I decided to eat 6 eggs instead. After my first meal I felt really good and went on about my day. I did a few shores around my house as I do on the weekends. It was raining off and on so I did not venture outdoors. I had defrosted some chicken thighs and some boneless beef ribs last night. I cut the boneless beef ribs in half because they are really long. I seasoned them up with garlic and onion powder. I added a little Worcestershire sauce. I plan on grilling them tomorrow on the outdoor grill. I might just use propane instead of coal this time. So the day went on fine with no hang ups. Later on in the day I lightly seasoned the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and cooked them in my rotisserie. After they cooled down to room temperature I rough chopped the meat add a generous amount of mayo and a little of whole grain mustard. I gave a couple of shakes of garlic and onion powder as well. I mixed it up really good and put it in the refrigerator to let he flavors mingle. I almost decided to add some boiled eggs, then changed my mind. Maybe next time. It had to be at least 2 lbs of chicken salad, maybe a little more. As the day wore on I was not really hungry at all after my first meal. I waited a little late to eat my second meal of the day. Then I got a little impatient and decided to eat before it got too late. That was not a good idea now that I have had time to think about it. Then I made another mistake in my opinion. I ate too much as I stated at the start of the post. I could have eaten half of the chicken salad and been satisfied. But I did not. I can't even ask why. I just did it. As I got to the halfway point of eating the chicken salad I felt good, as I as I ate three fourths of of the salad I told myself to stop. Then I reasoned that one fourth of chicken salad was not worth saving so why not just eat it and get over with it. Believe me this a a lesson well learned. This may not be a good point to bring up after talking about food, but the small bout of the runs I had yesterday are gone. To be clear, the mistakes I feel that I made was first not to consider eating one meal for the day due to lack of hunger and second not stopping after the halfway point of eating the chicken salad. No movement on the scale today. Thanks for all your support and have a good night.

  • What in the world is “beef cheek?” Do I even want to know?
