Zero Carb Chronicles Retrieved from: http://zero-carb.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss Greetings all,
Weekend coming and I am Happy, Happy, Happy!!! My next installment of “Blast from the Past”:
Original Stardate: 7/21/2010 Meat Pics
Well as the day drug on I began to feel better. For a moment I thought I might go home early. Now I feel pretty good. I was running low on beef. I went to H.E.B. I found a pack of Rib eyes on sale for $3.77 lb and some boneless beef ribs for $1.77 lb. These boneless ribs just looked like strips of beef roast. I tried some and they were good. I cooked them al on the outside grill.
Well, tomorrow is another day. I think I should get some rest.
Cheers
Original Stardate: 7/21/2010
I feel a little groggy today. My great experiment of not resting when I got home yesterday did not work. I got less rest and still stayed up late. I kind of discussed this with my best friend last weekend and he suggested melatonin. It’s supposed to be natural, but I’m not the type of person that runs to pills to solve issues. My friend said that he has always had trouble sleeping and it works for him.
I wonder of the myth about turkey is true. I could eat some turkey instead of steak or GB for my last meal of the day (just a thought).
I also feel a little queasiness this morning, I ate some real fatty beef yesterday at home and I think that triggered this feeling. I was o.k. last night, but this morning OUCH!!! I know this will pass with time.
I had a wacky scale jump this morning (Oh My!). No Worries. I compare my weight drop like the Stock Market ups and downs, but continually going down.
I hope I feel better later. If I could I would go home now, but my Indians need a Chief. So I must Carry On!
I hope everyone has a great (ZC) Day!!!
Cheers

Overall health (1-10):5
Energy level (1-10):5
Cravings: None
Today's Menu: Steak, GB, H2O
Observation:
OK, first of all as usual with multi-posts the last one will be the “technically” the first one so don’t get confused if I talk about morning and evening in the wrong sequence…………OK, now I am confused!!! Go figure!!! Now on with the Observation: Rib eyes for $3.77 lb. Can you believe that? Jeez I hope you enjoyed the pics. Later this day I was feeling better from not feeling too good from the morning. I had a nice little jump on the scale, but did not panic. I had confidence that no matter what, if I stay true to (ZC) I would eventually continue on the weight loss trend. My effort to skip my early evening nap backfired and I got even less sleep which may have contributed to my morning illness. I ate some fatty meat which at that time still made me feel a little queasy at times. I almost laugh at my thought of eating Turkey to induce natural sleepiness instead of turning to sleep aids natural or not. To be clear I laugh at the Turkey bit and not about the pills. I avoid pills of any sort at all costs.
Have a Healthy Day my Family and Friends. No, Surrender, No Retreat and Always Battle On!!!
(ZC)er The Price for LIFE
Cheers,
Dave
