A Systemic review of 7 major studies finds increased risk of developing bladder cancer is associated with Vitamin D deficiency.
Several far reaching studies have linked vitamin D deficiency to many health problems including autoimmune conditions, cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment, and cancer. Vitamin D plays a major role in the support of healthy teeth and bones, in the absorption of calcium, and helps support a healthy immune system. Previous studies have shown that higher levels of vitamin D – specifically serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D – are associated with a reduced cancer risk.
