More than 275 doctors, scientists and organizations sign letter to Trump in support of independent vaccine safety commission

(NaturalHealth365) As March of 2017 came to a close, a group consisting of over 275 Ph.D. scientists, medical doctors and related organizations gathered together to submit a letter to President Trump calling for the creation of an independent Vaccine Safety Commission.

The group is called Honesty in Media and they are seeking increased accountability in both medicine and the media. Five of its medical professionals held a press conference at the National Press Club on Friday, March 31. The event was live-streamed Friday morning, and a recording can be accessed via their Facebook page.

The speakers representing the group presented evidence showing that vaccines for children are scientifically linked with serious medical complications including autism and death in some cases.

Vaccine manufacturers not held legally responsible for vaccine injury

President Trump has already called for a Vaccine Safety Commission; however, it has been opposed and derided by the drug companies that make the vaccines as well as the mainstream media. This group of nearly 300 doctors is addressing the media directly to let the world know that many doctors, scientists and medical professionals support the creation of this commission.

Quite unlike any other type of product sold or distributed in the U.S., vaccines and the companies that manufacture them are shielded from legal liability if the products cause harm. The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986 instead includes a National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) where victims can apply for compensation if they are injured by a vaccine. The United States Department of Health and Human Services reports that its Health Resources and Services Administration has paid out over $3.6 billion dollars since 1988 to those injured by vaccines.

CDC whistleblowers make startling revelations about vaccine safety

The revelations of two recent CDC (Centers for Disease Control) whistleblowers are cited in the letter as examples of why a vaccine safety commission is needed. One of the whistleblowers is Dr. William Thompson, who in 2014 admitted that he and numerous colleagues have given fraudulent results related to pivotal vaccine research.

More recently, a group of anonymous CDC scientists formed an organization called Scientists Preserving Integrity, Diligence and Ethics in Research (SPIDER) as a response to rampant research manipulation and data destruction related to vaccines.

Efforts to ensure safety in vaccines for children met with resistance

The SPIDER group has stated that they are disturbed by the volume of rogue interests and outside parties attempting to shape and influence their mission. They say that even some Congressional leaders have been trying to circumvent their efforts. These subversive behaviors have almost become the norm, and the group is demanding change.

There are senior management officials working at the CDC who are clearly aware of these problems, yet condone them.

Despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary and a current autism rate of 1 in 68, the CDC still claims there’s no link between autism and vaccines for children. The Honesty in Media movement has a mission of raising awareness about these issues and being a catalyst for the creation of a long-overdue independent Vaccine Safety Commission.
