Kiren Rijuju Presents Certificate Of Naturalization To Adnan Sami Khan

Granted Under The Citizenship Act, 1955
New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Kiren Rijiju presented the Certificate of Naturalization to noted singer and musician Mr. Adnan Sami Khan on January 1. The certificate has been granted under the Citizenship Act, 1955. He had applied for the certificate of naturalisation and has satisfied the Government that the conditions laid down in the Citizenship Act, 1955 for grant of naturalisation are fulfilled in his case.
His request for citizenship was approved by the Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh yesterday.
Mr. B.K. Prasad, Additional Secretary (Foreigners), MHA and Ms. Roya Faryabi, wife of Adnan Sami Khan were also present on the occasion.
