Holds Slew Of Meetings With Cabinet Ministers

Manama (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): On the second day of his three-day visit to Bahrain, the Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh called on the King of Bahrain, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in capital Manama on Oct 24. He also met the Crown Prince & First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.

Mr. Rajnath Singh held extensive talks with his Bahrain counterpart, Minister of Interior Lt. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, followed by delegation level talks.

During his bilateral meetings, the Union Home Minister emphasized that terrorism should be dealt in a comprehensive manner. He said that being our extended neighbourhood, India accords very importance to its relations with the countries in the Gulf region.

Later in the evening, Mr. Rajnath Singh will visit ‘Little India in Bahrain’, an attraction site to locals and cultural tourists.

The Union Home Minister interacted with the Indian community in Bahrain yesterday.
