Athens: Four Metro Stations Closed to Public due to Mass Protest, Nov 7/2012

Athens metro stations , , and will be closed to public as of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7th 2012.  The metro stations will close after a police order for security reasons due to the mass protest at Syntagma Square outside the Greek Parliament at 5 p.m.. Metro wagons will pass through these stations but passengers will not be able to get in or out.

Metro and urban train ISAP/HSAP will operate after 3 p.m., the Tram will operate after 12 o’ clock noon time.

the Metro will operate until station and not up/from Athens Airport.

Buses, Trolley, Proastiakos, Trains and taxi will be on 24-hour strike.
