Athens: Pan-European Solidarity Protest Rally, Nov 14/12 (pictures)
Several thousands Greeks joined the Pan-European anti-austerity protests in downtown Athens on Wednesday. People with works and without, pensioners, teachers, members of trade unions and political parties raised their voices against the austerity measures that drags into impoverishment millions of people across Europe.

The protest was organized by public and private sector unions that had called for a three-hour work stoppage.

The protest ended peacefully.
