The latest in a flurry of Microsoft announcements, the company has just released their latest version of an OS X sync, Windows Phone 3.0. For Windows mobile users this is a far simpler way to transfer data to and from their OS X device.
Designed to be super simple, this variant of Windows Phone app carries with it “drag-and-drop” ease, as well as support for a variety of iOS products. Just drag and drop files from one device to another, it’s as simple as all that. Now Windows Phone users can sync up all those iTunes goodies they purchased — movies, music, games, and etc., and even Aperture library stuff can be adopted. The Windows Phone 3.0 basic features list is below.
Being basic is really the gist of this new release, but the value is in the list of content Windows Phone toters can now get. Obviously they can sync music, movies, TV shows, and podcasts from their Apple iTunes library, but they can also sync pictures and videos from iPhoto or Aperture too. Minimalist, effective, it looks like MS has another hit release.
Windows Phone users can download the new app here.
