Photo shooting with half-naked models on the graves of Greek Cypriots
Appalling pictures of half-naked models sitting on the graves or posing holding the grave cross with the name of the deceased. Place of the provocative photo-shooting is the Greek Cypriot cemetery in the Turkish-occupied Cyprus.
The pictures were apparently been shot last August but were released a couple of days ago.
Digital media in Cyprus have uploaded the pictures and comments in outrage speaking of “unprecedented vulgarity” and “provocative” and “depict” desecration” of the dead. Media cite the Cypriot site Nonstojournal as the one that first one that managed to obtain the appalling pictures.
The models are sitting on the marble graves, in some cases the name of the deceased is clearly shown.
The pictures have caused many angry reactions among the Greek Cypriots who condemn the “new Turkish provocation” at a time when the leaders of the Cyprus Republic and the occupied North-Cyprus try to come together seeking a solution to the 40-year-old problem.
