More than 2000 people are missing feared dead after a village in Afghanistan was buried by a mudslide. The far northeastern village in the Argo district was inundated with heavy rain on May 2, causing the mudslide which swept away more than 300 homes, then buried most of the village.
A UN spokesman in Kabul said 350 have died and 580 families are in danger from further mudslides. So far, 150 bodies have been found.
