The cruise ship with a Dallas hopsital worker and companion quarantined over Ebola fears is returning to Texas after it was not allowed to stop in Cozumel, Mexico.
CBS DFW
Carnival Cruise Lines and the CDC have decided to keep the couple isolated on the boat until it returns to Galveston on Sunday. The cruise was set to stop in Cozumel on Friday, but did not receive clearance from Mexican authorities. So, instead of making an additional stop, it has proceeded on toward Texas.
They make the decision sound so simple.

The Carnival Magic had been waiting off the Mexican coast since Friday morning for its scheduled port visit. Mexican authorities still hadn’t given clearance by noon, so the ship continued to its home port of Galveston, Tex., to make it home on time for its Sunday arrival, according to Carnival.
The Washington Post also reports the employee may be a lab supervisor.
