(1888 PressRelease) Thai Airways International’s Royal Orchid Spa at Suvarnabhumi Airport has earned international recognition for its excellence, by placing first in the ‘World’s Best Airline Lounges Spa Facility’ in the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2015.

 

 Situated in Concourse D, the Royal Orchid Spa is open to THAI Royal First Class and Royal Silk Class passengers daily from 6 am to 11.30 pm.

 

On offer are a wonderful range of spa services and treatments, providing just the thing for THAI’s passengers ahead of a longhaul flight from Bangkok to Copenhagen, for example, or a flight from Bangkok to London or to any other destination on the Thai national flag carrier’s global network.

 

The Skytrax World Airline Awards is based on the results of a passenger satisfaction survey conducted among 245 airlines and more than 18.89 million people around the world. They are recognized as a global benchmark of airline excellence.

 

The Royal Orchid Spa’s facilities include a 32-seat Lounge Area and the serving of snacks and drinks, while the First Class Zone has three Touch of Silk Suites, six Neck & Shoulder or Relaxing Foot Massage Corners, two Steam Rooms, two Sauna Rooms and four Shower Rooms. The Silk Class Zone has eight Neck & Shoulder or Relaxing Foot Massage Corners.

 

On the treatment menu are the Touch of Silk Full Body Oil Massage, Royal Thai Body Massage, Neck & Shoulder Massage and Foot Massage.

 

Access to the Royal Orchid Spa is for Royal First Class passengers departing the same day on a THAI international flight and Royal Silk Class passengers departing the same day on a THAI international flight (Neck & Shoulder or Foot Massage only).

 

Passengers wanting to enjoy a spa or massage service ahead of their flight are advised to visit the Royal Orchid Spa early, to place their name on the queue list. Advance reservations for treatments are not accepted.
