Security forces shot dead a man who seized a soldier’s gun at Paris Orly airport on Saturday (18th March).

During the incident, a police officer was shot and injured in a separate incident north of the French capital, the French Interior Ministry said.
The police bomb squad was ordered at scene to ensure that the dead man was not carrying an explosive belt, said Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet.
