There’s panic at the pumps in the UK, where a threatened strike by fuel delivery drivers has already seen stations running dry. There are even fears the army may be deployed to keep the country moving. NIAC Policy Director Jamal Abdi says the West can only blame itself for the spike in prices.

There’s panic at the pumps in the UK, where a threatened strike by fuel delivery drivers has already seen stations running dry. There are even fears the army may be deployed to keep the country moving. France has said there’s a good chance the US and Europe will agree to release oil stocks into the market to drive down crude costs. Jamal Abdi from the National Iranian-American Council says the West can only blame itself for the spike in prices.
