The IDF on Tuesday started distributing neck armor to 850 soldiers manning checkpoints and serving in Jerusalem to protect them from stabbings. The head of the IDF's counterterrorism department, Major Guy Elazar, said the distribution would be completed by the end of the month. The armor has a soft interior and a stab-resistant exterior.
