(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 9, 2016, 1:26 PM (IDT)

At a joint news conference with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Wednesday, Vice President Joe Biden condemned “these acts [of terror]” and the failure to condemn these acts, which “cannot be viewed as an appropriate way for civilized leaders to behave. This is not tolerable in the 21st century,” he stressed (without articulating the word “Palestinian” or naming names).

Israel has the right to self defense just like America. “We stand behind Israel and provide it with quality weapons, although we don’t agree on everything,” he remarked.
Netanyahu sent Israel's deepest condolences to the family of Taylor Allen Force, the US combat veteran who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist Tuesday night in Jaffa. Biden revealed that his wife and grandchildren had been dining at a restaurant on the Jaffa seafront not far from the attack. “It can happen anywhere, any time,” he commented gravely, before setting out for Ramallah to meet Mahmoud Abbas.
Netanyahu condemned President Abbas not only for failing to condemn the murderous terror attack in Jaffa but for allowing his Fatah Party to praise the killer as a “Palestinian martyr and hero.”

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
