Five injured in suspected terror attack in Petach Tikva

A shooting Thursday afternoon on Baron Hirsch St. in the Petach Tikva market in central Israel was followed by a stabbing attack at the nearby Hovevei Zion St. Five people were injured. A Palestinian suspect resident of the West Bank was neutralized and detained for questioning. The local police have so far not confirmed the motive for combined attack, which bore all the hallmarks of terrorism.
