According to the London Telegraph, Israeli Ambasador David Govrin was pulled out of Egypt at the end of last year over concerns for his security. He is currently working from Jerusalem and the Israeli government hopes he can soon return to his post in Cairo. The Foreign Ministry declined to comment.
