(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 5, 2017, 11:29 AM (IDT)

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem Sunday that he will strongly dispute Iran’s moves to establish a permanent presence in Syria at his coming talks with President Vladimir Putin in Moscow Thursday. Tehran aims to keep ground and naval troops in the country for good, as well as trying to open a second front against Israel from the Golan, he said. Netanyahu voiced the hope that the common ground achieved on this issue with Moscow thus far will be sustained.

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
