(Before It's News)

DEBKAfile was founded by a team of journalists in June 2000 as an independent Internet Web site, providing an intelligence and security news service. March 28, 2017, 8:57 AM (IDT)

The new US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, drew thunderous applause at the AIPAC annual conference Monday night after every sentence of her speech: “We said the days of Israel-bashing are over. We have a lot of things to talk about, there are a lot of threats to peace and security, but you're not going to take our number one democratic friend in the Middle East and beat up on them,” she said. “And I think what you're seeing is, they're all backing up a little bit. The Israel-bashing is not as loud.”

In her brief stint as ambassador, the former South Carolina governor has achieved some remarkable successes including forcing the UN to withdraw a report accusing Israel of apartheid. Nikki Haley now announced: “For anyone who says you can't get anything done at the U.N., they need to know there is a new sheriff in town.”

Our unique angle on these subjects – and strong intelligence dimension – has earned DEBKAfile a global reputation and a steady readership – which skyrockets in times of crisis.
