Unknown active submarine volcano found beside Izu islands, “Eruption will affect large areas”
Around North to Izu islands, Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology found extremely hot water spouting from the sea ground at a few tens of locations. The highest water temperature was 194℃. (381.2F)
It’s 100m deep under the sea. They also found mass of sulfur and pumice stones produced by past eruption.
The researching group analyzes it’s an active volcano. Because the water temperature is high, it is presumed that heating magma is under the hollow. Potential eruption will affect large areas because it’s shallow.

Au Nord des îles Izu, la Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology a trouvé des eaux extrêmement chaudes jaillissant au fond de la mer en un peu moins de 10 endroits. La plus haute température relevée a été de 194 ℃. (= 381,2 °F)
C’est à 100 m de fond. Ils ont aussi trouvé quantité de soufre et de pierres ponce produits par d’anciennes éruptions.
L’équipe de recherche détermine s’il s’agit d’un volcan actif. A cause de la haute température de l’eau, ils supposent que le magma en fusion est sous l’enfoncement. La prochaine possible éruption affectera du grande région parce que c’est superficiel.
