Hydrogen concentration rapidly increased in PCV reactor1

Tepco has been injecting nitrogen gas into suppression chamber of reactor1 since 10/23/2012.

(cf. To avoid the risk of explosion, Tepco is to inject nitrogen gas to suppression chamber of reactor1 for a month)

However, the hydrogen gas concentration in PCV1 had been increasing from 10/23 to 10/30/2012.

The highest reading was 1.47 vol% (System A) and 1.48 vol% (System B) of 10/30/2012, which are 7 times much as 10/23/2012.

Tepco injecte de l’azote gazeux dans la salle de surpression du réacteur 1 depuis le 23 octobre 2012.

(cf. Pour éviter le risque d’explosion, Tepco va injecter de l’azote gazeux dans la salle de surpression du réacteur 1 pendant un mois)

Toutefois, entre le 23 et le 30 octobre 2012 la concentration en hydrogène gazeux augmente dans la PCV1 (= enceinte primaire de confinement du réacteur 1) .

Le 30 octobre 2012, au plus haut on était à 1,47 %vol (Système A) et 1,48 % vol (Système B), ce qui est 7 fois plus que le 23 octobre 2012.
