(Before It's News)

On 6/29/2013, Tepco announced they accidentally let a concrete mixer truck go out of Fukushima nuclear plant area.

At 13:26, the truck left the area regardless of the order to decontaminate. They had detected 22,000 CPM near the upper part of the rear bumper.

The truck went to Naraha-machi to refill concrete. When it came back to the plant area, they detected 20,000 CPM on the same part of the truck.

The radiation level decreased by 2,000 CPM (22,000 – 20,000 CPM) but Tepco is still under investigation about the environmental impact.

The truck has already left the plant area after decontamination. Tepco reports the radiation level was decreased to be 3,000 CPM by decontamination.
