(Before It's News)

On 7/2/2013, Tepco stopped supplying electricity for the amusement facilities in Chiba prefecture. The specific name of the facilities is not announced.

Though the net power demand keeps decreasing, Tepco is increasing the power price for large consumers (14.9 at average) in order not to go bankrupt.

(cf, Power demand lower than last year for 5 continuous months, Tepco reported it only in Japanese [URL])

The amusement facilities did not accept the newly increased power price, rejected renewing the contact in April 2012.
