Tritium density became the highest in boring nearest to the sea again, “630,000,000 Bq/m3″

According to Tepco, they measured the highest reading of Tritium from boring No.1-1 again.

They detected 630,000,000 Bq/m3 from the sample of 7/8/2013. It was 600,000,000 Bq/m3 on 7/5/2013.

They also measured 4,400,000 Bq/m3 of all β (such as Strontium-90) from this sample.

This boring is only 4~5 m from the sea.

Tepco is planning to abandon this boring as they build the underground wall. (cf, Tepco to “improve” the ground to stop groundwater contamination spreading by crushing an observation hole [URL])

Encore un record de tritium dans le forage à côté de la mer : 630 000 000 Bq/m³

Selon Tepco, ils ont encore relevé un record de tritium dans le forage N° 1-1.

Ils ont relevé 630 000 000 Bq/m³ (630 millions) dans l’échantillon du 8 juillet 2013. On en était à 600 000 000 Bq/m³ (600 millions) le 5 juillet 2013.
Ils ont aussi relevé 4 400 000 Bq/m³ de β nucléides (tels que le strontium 90) dans ce même échantillon.
Ce forage n’est qu’à 4-5 m de la mer.
Tepco prévoie d’abandonner ce forage à cause de la construction du mur souterrain. (cf. Tepco va “renforcer” le sol pour arrêter la contamination souterraine en écrasant un trou d’observation)
