Highest density of All β and Cs-134 measured from groundwater near Reactor 2

1,200,000,000 Bq/m3 of All β nuclide to include Strontium-90 and 9,000,000 Bq/m3 of Cesium-134 was measured from groundwater, according to Tepco.

These are the highest readings since they started measuring. The groundwater was taken from the seaside of near Reactor2, which is the boring called “No. 1-6″.

The sampling date was 7/21/2014. Tepco took the groundwater sample from the same boring 4 days ago, but the results were the highest reading at that time as well.

Radioactive density keeps increasing in this area.

Tepco has made no announcement about this.
