(Before It's News)

On 8/8/2014, the government of Japan decided the 6th financial support of 512  billion yen to Tepco.

Having the compensation payouts exceeding the expected value, Tepco and Nuclear Damage Liability Facilitation Fund have been requesting for the additional support.

They advertise that nuclear power costs less than other means of power generation system. However the sum of the governmental support for compensation payout is going to be over 5 trillion yen.
