On 7/30/2015, Radiation council of Japanese government admitted the reform bill to raise the dose limit from 100 mSv to 250 mSv of nuclear plant workers in case of emergency.
The amendment act will be in effect next April.
The reform bill had been submitted by NRA (Nuclear Regulation Authority) and Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
In 311, the government of Japan temporarily raised the dose limit from 100 mSv to 250 mSv as exceptional measures.
However, these members of Radiation council were appointed by NRA itself back in April 2014.
