Tepco’s ordinary profit broke the highest record of its corporation history / Jumped by 50.4 percent
On 10/29/2015, Tepco announced the interim result of September, 2015.
On non-consolidated accounting base, the ordinary profit increased by 57.7 %, which was 338 billion yen (338,400,000,000 JPY). On consolidated accounting base, it also increased by 50.4 %, which was 365 billion yen (365,100,000,000 JPY). This is the highest value in their corporation history as interim result.
Tepco comments this is mainly due to the decrease of the crude oil and liquefied natural gas price. However the president, Hirose stated they will not decrease the power rates until they restart Kashiwazakikariwa Nuclear Power Station.
