(Before It's News)

The researching group of Tohoku University reported that the tectonic plate of 311 has started being strained again.

311 was caused by the release of strain of the tectonic plate offshore North-East Japan.

The researching group surveyed the bottom of the Pacific by installing monitors about 7,000 m below the surface. As a result, the release of strain was no longer detected from September of 2014 to May of 2015, which suggests the tectonic plate has started storing the stress again.

They are going to increase the monitors at 200km offshore of North-East Japan and implement the more detailed research in 2 years from now.
