According to JMA (Japan Meteorological Agency), 5 earthquakes repeatedly occurred within 4 hours in the center of Tottori prefecture.
The occurring time and magnitude are as follows. All of these happened on 12/14/2015.

15:04 JST, M2.3
15:01 JST, M4.2
13:44 JST, M2.9
12:51 JST, M2.4
The maximum seismic intensity was 4.
The repeating earthquakes were observed this October as well. (cf, Tottori quake still continues / Prefecture “possibility of earthquake swarm” [URL]) JMA has not mentioned the cause of the series of earthquakes.
