On 3/6/2016, Hayashi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry stated decommissioning of Fukushima plant can take longer than 40 years.
It was said in a TV debate on NHK.
The government of Japan announced Fukushima decommissioning takes 30 ~ 40 years. However in the TV debate, Hayashi stated it only means we do our best toward the goal to complete decommissioning in 40 years, which doesn’t have to be guaranteed.
