Government Projects Stranger Than Natural Disaster ‘Conspiracies’
When more than one natural disaster occurs at the same time, it is sure to spark talks about Bible prophecy and government-run weather modification programs.
And so it is with the devastating earthquakes that rocked Ecuador and Japan over the weekend. Volcanic eruptions are also flaring up along the ‘Ring of Fire.’
Japan sustained a magnitude 7.1 earthquake on the island of Kyushu that killed at least 47 people and injured more than 1,000 at last count. A magnitude 7.8 earthquake in Ecuador Sunday killed more than 500 people and injured more than 4,000.
About 90 percent of the world’s earthquakes happen in the Ring of Fire, a horseshoe-shaped area touching the coastlines along the Pacific Ocean. The area is also home to 452 or 75 percent of the world’s active volcanoes, according to National Geographic.

Whether an earthquake could spark volcanic activity is mere speculation, not science, according to Wired Magazine.
But sometimes “science” is stranger than speculation.
The highly secretive High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) program is often blamed for catastrophic events such as Hurricane Katrina, the Japan tsunami and the Joplin, Mo. F-5 tornado. Reportedly, the HAARP program was abandoned in 2013 for another (and more secretive) program.
The HAARP site in Alaska has of 360 radio transmitters and 180 antennas. According to reports, scientists used the system to conduct radio wave experiments that “heat up the ionosphere by accelerating electrons.”
HAARP was funded in part by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). That’s the same government agency that brings us bizarre projects such as humanoid combat robots, insect drones, synthetic blood, mind-controlled artificial limbs, surveillance blimps, and chip implants for the brains of military soldiers, among others.
Other speculation about natural disasters just keeps on coming.
The Associate Press chimed in with the headline, “Major earthquake overdue in California’s Eastern Sierra.”
A seismologist, Roger Bilham of the University of Colorado, suggested in a variety of published reports that more earthquakes – even beyond magnitudes of 8.0 – are likely to happen. He has also noted in published reports that 38 volcanoes are active around the world and that could create more earthquakes.
Rightfully so, people are worried about mass earthquakes of 8.0 or above on the 10-point Richter Scale. An 8.0 earthquake is classified as causing “severe destruction and loss of life over large areas,” similar to what is seen in Ecuador.
Whether or not they’re related to earthquakes, volcanoes have the potential to cause apocalyptic damage.
WNCT Channel 9 in North Carolina on Monday questioned whether a super volcano under Yellowstone National Park could erupt. And the last time that happened was an estimated 640,000 years ago, WNCT reported.
“Scientists believe [an] eruption will have global consequences as large amounts of ash and pulverized rock will be thrust into the atmosphere and fall back to earth. Volcanic ash and material will linger in the atmosphere, blocking out the sun, causing global temperatures to lower,” WNCT Channel 9 in North Carolina reported Monday.
That would be a disaster of Biblical proportions.
Revelation 6:12 states: “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red.”
Scientific American, reporting on research done at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), suggested that “four out of the five mass extinctions” were caused by catastrophic volcanic outbursts.
Like a page torn right from the globalists’ sinister playbook, Stuff.co.nz reported that some believe a mass extinction event would actually be good for the planet.
“NASA advisers Robert Brownlee and Peter Ward suggest that mass extinctions remove resource-hogging organisms,” the website reports. “These can be become dominant and entrenched, restricting biodiversity and competition, hence slowing down the rate of evolutionary development.”
What exactly are these resource-hogging organisms?
Ask Ted Turner. During an infamous Charlie Rose interview Turner said, “Too many people are using too much stuff.”
