On 4/28/2016, Tepco announced they had the remarkable growth in their ordinary profit for FY 2015.

According to Tepco, their Operating Revenues for FY 2015 dropped by 10.8% from the same period of the previous fiscal year to 6,069.9 billion JPY on a consolidated basis. However Ordinary Income increased by 56.7% from the same period of the previous fiscal year to 325.9 billion yen.

Electricity Sales Revenues decreased 12.8%. On the other hand, Ordinary Expenses decreased 12.5% due to the largely decreased fuel cost such as crude oil, which led to the rapid growth of profit.

At this moment, none of the nuclear plants of Tepco are in operation.
