Flint attorney Damika Pace-Byrd announces run for 68th District Court Judge

FLINT, Michigan — Damika Pace-Byrd, a Flint attorney, announced Tuesday in a press release that she plans to run for 68th District Court Judge in Flint.
Pace-Byrd, a graduate of Northern High School, received her bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University and then went on to receive her law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing.
Pace-Byrd has ran her own private law firm in Flint for the past 11 years.
A life-long Flint resident, she has also served as a public defender for the 68th District Court.
A fund-raising event for Pace-Byrd's campaign will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 3 at the Vet's Club, 2408 S. Saginaw St. in Flint.
