Animals Running In Yellowstone
The video of bison running in Yellowstone first appeared at BIN at week or so ago. As I always do, I go to the ORIGINAL source, in this case the youtube video. What I found is the videographer explained exactly what was going on. The matriarch took a notion to run. It is spring, bovines (along with every other living creature) get frisky in the spring. When the matriarch runs, everyone follows.
To pretend this is some sort of warning is FEARMONGERING.
I had hoped that the new format would be useful for sorting out the actual news from the nonsense. Today, this LIE is now an “editor’s pick.” I am deeply disappointed. Citizen journalists need BIN, but we risk credibility posting here. I urge you to keep the open source format, but PLEASE do not put anything in “editor’s picks” unless you have fact checked it yourself. It would be lovely to have a way to use this site without endlessly fishing through the sensationalized LIES.
