Hillary Clinton’s Duplicity

Hillary Clinton has given more than ample evidence that she will profess and do anything that will enhance her prospects of gaining power. That is, she’s given more than ample evidence that she is, even more than the typical human being, utterly unfit to hold power. Of course – given her chosen profession – she lies profusely (if not as skillfully as does someone, such as her husband, in possession of better political skills). She is also Janus-faced and, in so being, she’s hardly someone to be admired by anyone with even a scant regard for principles.
During the remainder of the campaign, Democratic partisans will boast of Hillary Clinton’s commitment to truth and rationality. That boast will be as laughable as it is loud. (HT Greg Mankiw)
