(Before It's News)

BLS Employment Situation Report (December 2015)

– Nonfarm Payrolls seasonally adjusted month/month  292,000. Previous was 252,000
– Unemployment Rate  5.0%. Previous was 5.0%
– Private Jobs month/month  275,000. Previous was 240,000
– Labor Participation Rate    62.6 %. Previous was  62.5%
– Average Hourly Earnings month/month +0.0%. Previous was +0.2%
– Average Workweek 34.5 hours. Previous was 34.5 hours.

This is a recovery from the previous weak report the upward revision to the previous month. It even saw the Labor Participation Rate increase. Average earnings was flat.  With concerns about the world economy which hit equities so hard this week the question is whether we will see jobs growth start to decline.

Wholesale Trade (November 2015)

– Inventories month/month -0.3%. . Previous was -0.3%.

This is a component of GDP.
