Dead whale dragged by ship now docked at Pier 13, Staten Island, N.Y

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A ship owned by Ports of America docked at a Pier 13, operated by the Port Authority, on the North Shore with a dead whale attached to its bow, said a PA police source.
It is believed that the whale was killed out at sea and the ship had been dragging it. Officials from the ship's owner and the U.S. Coast Guard are handling the removal of the animal.
