Bats In Pennsylvania Threatened By White Nose Syndrome. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has listed the northern long-eared bat as a “threatened” species.

 

Record California sea lion strandings reach 2,250 so far this year. A worsening phenomenon blamed on warming seas that have disrupted the marine mammals’ food supply.
