Jade Helm in Chicago

Hello Everyone, I’m a Chicago Police Officer with 21yrs of service on the force.  

I was informed by one of my co-workers that a military exercise took place in downtown Chicago on July 23, 2015 @ 9:00 p.m.  He stated that multiple street closures were in place while 10-15 Delta Force Assault Helicopters with Navy Seals on board landed at Soldier’s Field, 31st Street Beach and various downtown locations.

He said the exercise was very fast and unlike anything he has ever seen before, given the fact that he recently served in the United States Coast Guard.  He asked me what could that kind of exercise be about and should we be expecting something in the future.

I told him about the Jade Helm Operation taking place around the country and he was in complete shock. Wow!!! These exercises are taking place in a major metropolis like Chicago, and downtown of all places!!!
