Only 12 days old, the baby panda at San Diego Zoo is already starting to develop its trademark black-and-white markings. Video footage from the zoo's “panda cam” shows the unnamed cub curled up in its mother's arms on Thursday. But it will be another four or five months before fans get the chance to see mother and cub in person, as the baby panda needs time to grow strong. Researchers say that in addition to the color markings, the baby is also making loud vocalizations – a sign of good health. The sex of the cub will not be known until it is examined by animal care staff, which is not expected to happen for another two months. The giant pandas are on loan to the San Diego Zoo from the People's Republic of China. For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me
