On Thursday, Samsung released its new flag tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1, to the excitement of some potential consumers in the company's South Korea home. Based off the Galaxy Note mobile phone device, which was large enough to seem like a miniature tablet, the new 10.1-inch Android tablet packs a 1.4-GHz quad-core Exynos processor and 2GB of RAM. Running Ice Cream Sandwich, the device is sure to draw in graphic designers and artists, as it has been combined with Wacom stylus tech. Jung Dae-Woong, who was testing the Galaxy Note, was impressed with the tablet's innards. [J. Dae-Woong]: “The new product's processing speed is much faster than iPad or previous Galaxy tablet model, which was the most impressive thing to me. Also I like it that the product has many more functions than the mobile phone model of Galaxy Note.” Samsung surely hopes to rival the iPad with its newest tablet. The new release comes during a big patent case between Samsung and Apple in the US, where Apple has accused the South Korean tech firm of copying many patents from its iPhone and iPad devices. Samsung has a long way to go to catch up to its Cupertino-based competitor; according to research firm IHS iSuppli, Apple sold 28.8 million iPads between January and June, giving it a 64.4% market share, compared to a 9.9% held by SAmsung. Pricing options are $500 for the 16GB version and $550 for 32GB. For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on …
