Google comes to the rescue, as Gaza's police force use the internet for a crash course in crocodile hunting. Full story: Police say a crocodile on the run from a Gaza zoo for the past 18 months has finally been captured. The 6 foot-long reptile was spotted several weeks ago in sewage pools in the northern Gaza Strip, and villagers complained he had been eating their livestock. Police called in fishermen, who then netted the crocodile on Monday. [Sameh Al Sultan, Policeman]: “This crocodile behind me ran away from the zoo in 2010, nearly two years ago when it was small around (40-50 cm) long.” An internet crash-course in croc-capture helped put the offending reptile behind bars. [Sameh Al Sultan, Policeman]: “We don't have dart guns and tools for hunting crocodiles or even previous knowledge in dealing with crocodiles but we, with the 'help of God', searched on the internet about crocodiles and how to hunt them and also we asked expert hunters to help us.” The fugitive was returned to the zoo and reunited with four other crocodiles. The owners of the zoo said the crocodile had grown considerably since his escape. They've also decided to name him “Sakher”, or Rock, as a tribute to his survival.
