It's Election Day. For many, this marks the culmination of many arduous months on the campaign trail. Along with Obama, Romney, and their thousands of volunteers, the celebrities of Hollywood, many of whom offered very public support, are casting their votes for the candidates of their choice. And they know the importance of voting. [Tom Hanks, "Cloud Hanks" Star]: “I think every year is a big fat donnybrook. Every election is a donnybrook, this one more or less than others, with a couple of wrinkles thrown in here and there. This is what I predict: our republic will survive. We shall go on. We shall continue to work together and solve the problems that face us, no matter who's elected, provided everybody votes.” [John Goodman, "Flight" Co-Star]: “I can't wait until it's over with.” While some celebrities have made their endorsements public, many were simply making sure everyone got out to vote. [Tobey Maguire, Actor]: “I think that this election and all elections that the most important thing for me and for all of us is to get out there and vote and let your voice be heard.” The candidates made a sprint throughout swing states yesterday in their final dash to rally voters. We'll see if their efforts, along with the efforts of their star supporters, have panned out by tomorrow. [Eva Mendes, Actress]: “I'm just excited to get out there and vote, and that's it.” For more news and videos visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ on.fb.me
